SCREENSHOTS

So, since many topics get locked because they have no screenshots, can't we just make a message pop-up when you press Submit and asks before posting in the levels/project forum "have you olaced some screenshots in your thread? Y/N"
so people might remember to place screenshot and there won't be as many locked topics as before, rite?

apparently yes, i have seen lots of locked topics because of the screenshots.

I'm sure that's due to them not reading the sticky topics around here. If it's possible we could at least move some important aspects into the level forum page itself, kinda like a regional announcement which is always visible. I've seen it before and I think it'd be more obvious than a little sticky topic. The same thing could be made for the Projects forum.

@Emral: Do you mean like an option to preview some rules like prophpbb offers? I think making what Darkonius suggests would be better, kinda like a foolproof feature, or more likely, a lazyproof feature.

Besides, I think it should be possible to implement a capture of the body of the message with some codes, there would be a need to just capture the IMG BBCodes, and problem would be solved.

I have a feeling that ProphpBB can't do something like this.

For the last time, this forum isn't hosted by ProPhpbb. It's built on phpbb3, the most popular forum software. And yeah, there are many MOD's that can do what Darkonius suggested. Alternatively, Joey can use the forum rules function to display a mesage at the top of the forum regarding screenshots.

The topic has about 300 views. It's pretty clear very few people actually read it. Instead of continuing to lock topics why not display a message at the top containing the project forum rules?
