Worldmap Problems and Blackscreen after Launch!

Postby FrozenSolid » Sun Oct 04, 2015 6:28 am

Hi there.

So i got this new problem (Dude, i tend to run into those aren't i?) Where i made my Worldmap and it Shows up on the SMBX Game Launcher, but when i start it up, it spawns me in the down right corner of the screen, completely black and unable to move.

Information:

I got a Starting Level with the Level Filenam as it is saved in its Folder, and i put an ".lvl" behind the Name.

As Level Exits, i got the SMB3 Standard Exit on "Right", as my Level Ends with a SMB 3 Standard Exit.

The Only Path facing away from the Start Level is Right, so all the Other Level Exits are set on "Any".

As Options, it has "Game Start" and "Path Background" Set.

The second (and also last) Level on the Worldmap has the exact same, except that "Game Start" and "Path Background" was deactivated, but "Always Visible" was added. Also, no "Level Exits" are set, all are on "Any".

As Music, i have the "SMB 3 World 1" Theme placed on the Start Level.

On Settings, i gave the World a Name (Actually, without any Ö, Ä and Ü), put the Start Level (the first Level) Name in there and Blocked All Characters except Mario.

The Worldmap File is not really large, so that shouldn't be the Problem.

Thanks in Advance for Replies and Suggestions on what i can do. :)

Can you give us the project folder so I can have a look at it?

The starting level should have "game start" checked.

Somehow, i can't upload the World Folder without Crashing the Site. Is there another way to give it to youl, or give me instructions on what to do?

Zip the folder up, and then upload it to a site like Mediafire and Dropbox, like Tinkerbell and RudeGuy07 pointed out. Bear in mind you'll definitely need to create an account for Mediafire, and probably for Dropbox.
