What happened with SMBX?

What I want is to answer these questions:

1.What happened to "smbx" that no longer takes Updates?

2.Why the retired owner of the game?

3.Will it have a future update of "smbx" and are working? (ver. 1.4)

4.What do you think of updating "smbx 1.3.0.1"?

1. Redigit Stopped working on it after a phone call from Nintendo

2. Because i think he wanted to turn full attention to his other project Terreia

3. No I don't think so Because we have no knowledge of the visual code

4. I can't do that ok?

Don't worry about having no updates on SMBX. There will be a (actually 2) reversed-enginered SMBX at the near future.

Redigit was a cool guy lol. People just twnd to blame him bc he hired the Kathy twins.

It's been said a ton of times, but I'll say it again: SMBX will receive no substantial updates anymore. We are not capable of adding new features to SMBX. However, as others have said, there are new editors and extensions in development that will become the future of SMBX.

Even after this and all those posts before. People will still will ask the same question over and over again.
