How do you make transition tiles?

What I mean is, how to you make a tile that goes from one type of tile to another? Is there a specific way to do it?

You can make some kind of border at whih the tiles change, I think reghrhre has made a video about this with Cave tiles. It'd be an advantage if you could specify what kind of tilws you wanna make transition into eacj other.
