How many of you are actually good at making sprites?

I think the one thing that helps a lot is practice. Some time ago I couldn't even draw a simple grass tileset, now I think I'm pretty decent at spriting overall. Not very good with NPCs and playables, but that's because I haven't even tried drawing those yet (I stick close to other Mario games's style, so redrawing them is not really needed).
