This project uses SMBX2 Beta 3. If you would like to participate in the creation of this project you have to use SMBX2 Beta 3. You will also need to use SMBX2.

Mario's Greatest Adventure is an episode created by 'TheGamingCats', also known as 'Mapperific'. This is his first episode. More information can be found below.

Many monsters are storming the Mushroom Kingdom and its people. It appears that Bowser is preparing for the greatest invasion in Mario History. Where the monsters come from, only Bowser and his minions know. In this dire situation, Mario has been issued a quest - to eradicate this threat at all costs. The first objective - force Iggy to tell him the truth. Or at least, thats what the Questmaster told him to do. Mario questions the toads' new abnormal behavior, and wonders if he should really complete this first cruel objective.

Who will he end up fighting? The Mushroom Kingdom, or Bowser's minions, or even worse - both? Mario's confusion only grows with time, and so does his suspicion. He suspects someone is behind it all, someone close to the Toads, someone who can convince them all to change - but who in particular? It may soon seem that Bowser is not the true enemy - this someone is.

You can join the team by posting in this thread, PMing me, Discord, or Skype.
However, for you to be accepted, you have to do the requirements for the rank you want to be.
You can send the files (if any) to me via this thread, PMing me, Discord, or Skype.

Project Leader - You can't, haha.
Graphic Designers - Send me some of your custom graphics. If they are good enough, you are approved.
Level Designers - Tell me which world you would like to work on via either 1 of the methods above and I will assign you a level to create. I will tell you all the information you need about the level and you will bring that level to life. If it is good enough, you are approved.
Beta Testers - No requirements, just swear that you will not leak the episode.
Music Composers - Send me at least 1 of your custom music. If it / they are good enough, you are approved.
LunaLua Developers - Send me at least 1 of your LunaLua scripts. If it / they are good enough, you are approved.
Map Designers - Send me at least 1 of your episodes that has a map in it or at least 1 map. If it / they are good enough, you are approved.
Project Overseers - You can only be a Project Overseer if you have another major role in the team and has shown responsibility.
Level Revamp Team - Find a decent level and then revamp it and send it and the old level to me. If it is good enough, you are approved. You cannot revamp your own levels.

I really only have a problem with the odd signpost screen and Toad house screen, other than that... this looks quite promising, I'd like to see where this is going, I hope you improve on this and make a fun project. :)

The signpost screen is the credits screen (a.k.a 1-0) so it doesnt have to look very good. Its not technically a level. Also, the toad house level needs a revamp, i know :P

Project looks like a very good Work-in-progress. I know it's been pointed out, but the toad house could use some work. The tightly-squeezed level design doesn't look too horrible either. Normally not a fan of stuff like that, but I'm not complaining about it here. The first screenshot, i would stick with only one type of spike (probably the wooden ones. It fits the grass level better than the castle spikes).

Are you referring to the toad house itself, or the one with the bunch of signs. If its the one with the signs, then that isnt a Toad House, thats the Credits room. 1-1 and 1-2 need serious revamp due to them being my first few levels. Thats why its orange on the level progress thing. I'll change the spikes tmr i guess, its close to midnight now. The tightly-squeezed design was how I built levels when i used to build on flash, so I just gave it a shot :/

A Title Screen Intro seems quite difficult but i might attempt it when I get better at making levels so like maybe after I finish World 4 or 5 i will attempt it. Credit roll sounds more plausible though, but it might be difficult to put words in, idk. I'll try my best.

That is ok, but you will only be approved once you have sent me a map in which I deem good enough for you to be approved. Another person is currently working on World 2 right now, so you'll have to wait for your turn to design anyway.
