Alright so. Now that there are two lines of amiibo, I feel it's appropriate to make one thread to discuss them all.

The fact that the Smash Bros. Amiibos of Mario characters work for Mario Party 10 makes me wonder if the Mario Lineup Amiibos work for Smash Bros. and other games that the Smash Bros. Amiibos work for. Also, if I get an amiibo, I'll probably just get Mario and Link because I feel like they'll be used for the most games. The Sonic one is tempting, though because I'm a diehard Sonic fan and I main Sonic in Smash 4, so I'd probably be able to make it pretty strong.

What sucks though you've to erase your Smash Bros. amiibo's data if you're gonna use it in Mario Party 10. I think that's why they made the new Mario series amiibo lineup.

yeah. They did mention DK and Rosalina also being compatible with MP10, which are currently Smash exclusive, but I found THIS, guys!

I honestly feel they push this thing to high shit way too hard. The latest Nintendo Direct further extends my thoughts on that. While it seems like a cool concept they really seem to be turning it into a cash-grab for collectors and they try to cram it into every game they can.

I got a Yoshi amiibo for christmas. I used it a lot for awhile, but I used it less and less as time went on. Will I buy an amiibo ever again? I'll accept them as gifts rather than buying them myself.

Amiibo support is now possible on Smash 3DS as of the new update(apparently, though I hadn't found out how it works just yet).

I just looked into it, the New 3DS will have amiibo support, for those who are not gonna get the New 3ds, Nintendo will most likely release a peripheral for the other DS'
