Created for Snow Level Contest.
This is 8-bit SMB styled level. It features some annoying dogs & mine SMB styled mix of Dogsong.

The title fits this level very well I must say. Litchh you’re a very interesting level designer. I have to wonder if all of your submissions thus far are all apart of one episode you're making. If so I look forward to playing it when it comes out. Anyway the clash between Undertale and SMB1 works quite well with simple music that fits well too. I feel guilty killing a bunch of dogs in this, but whatever works I suppose. The small dog breaking the bones is a clever idea for this level too! You recycle an Undertale joke, but I appreciated it. That helped save you from me saying the level was getting pretty dragged on with nothing besides the dogs. I think you utilized your sources well and made a nice SMB1 level with the Undertale visuals and humor to help add life to the level. Great job with this.

Aside from the Undertale music and NPCs, this is basically just an SMB1 overworld run. At first glance, that is. However, the level boasts some features that differentiate it from other typical overworlds. The snow poffs in the second section are a neat gimmick that ultimately lead to a small coin bonus, but it doesn't affect the overall level and only just serves for completion purposes. The bone near the end of the first section, though, is a rather neat concept, but it's executed poorly because the player is given no hints on how to get past. The music, while neatly fitting in with the theme of the level, suffers from the problem of being 8-bit and thus clashing with the 16-bit sound effects of SMBX. The design of the level, though, should the gimmicks be stripped away, turns out to be generic and uninspired, so it seems as though the level relies solely on gimmicks to be good and otherwise mask the true design of the level.

This level was interesting. I liked the snow poff references the best lol. I also liked the dog theme in this level. It's
a nice touch, and it's different. The level itself was just sort of like an average platformer though.
There wasn't all that much creativity involved in it. At least you managed to stick with the theme though. I don't exactly
have all that much to say about this level honestly. It's decent though :P.

I'm filled up with determination. I can easily tell that this is one of the most creative levels I've ever played. I like how you took
Undertale as a source of inspiration. The music was also okay and it fit to the levels snow atmosphere. So lets hop in a 8-bit level with
the same type of music, enemies and other stuff. The block placement. Even if it sometimes looks flat and boring the npc placement doesnt
lets it happen. The underground bonus-section is good, and somehow I could figure out how to get there. The BGO placement was ok for a
SMB1 styled level. I liked the dog-clouds in the background, they were funny. The NPC placement was good and it didnt let the level fall,
altough some areas on the bridges can be ran through, so what do I mean by that? The dogs wont hurt you even if you run at full speed,
ofc in a few areas. Well, at overall, this level was awesome, both in creativity and gameplay. The npcs are a little bit poor in variety
. The level itself was well decorated, altough, some BGO clouds would be fine too. There are very minor things to be changed
like the dogs in the bridge part of the level.

Okay, clearly Undertale now. It was fun, but also weird. Using a Dog for a key when the lock was a bone was clever though. Requireing the player to find the key, and on top of that stay big is both smart, and mean. The massive difficulty spike at the end was a killer though. I liked the easter egg with the "Snow Puffs" that if you change between the on you talk to, they all say something differnt, but ends in 20 ruppes. This levels seems mostly refernce and joke based, but was still nice. Is this a joke level?
