Hmm, looks nice. It could be a nice feature for whoever makes an 8-bit SMB1 level.

It's good to see more Mario Maker stuff being ripped and ported. This SMB1 content will surely be useful for a few people, including me. I don't see why Nintendo gave the Boo sprites an outline though, they seem out of place against everything else and appear to fit better with SMB3 or even KA sprites. Nice work h2643, I can't for any other Mario Maker stuff you rip.

I'm curious if some of those sprites would even work with those palettes if they were in the game played on an NES, or even they even took that into consideration to keep the new enemies from clashing, but I do really like the boo sprites.
(Not that I care about clash. Just weirder for it to be in an official Nintendo game than in an SMBX episode.)
Good job with the rips though!

These new sprites still use only 3 colors, like most of the other sprites in SMB.

You're right about that, but I'm not talking about the amount of colours but rather the colour selection. I was curious if the colour palettes match the tones of the rest of the game and/or are possible with the NES. I don't know much about that stuff, but since the SNES required Link to have weird pink hair, for example, I assume the NES had similar palette limitations?
EDIT: Then again I guess they also had an object limit that Mario Maker doesn't (and rightly shouldn't) share. Perhaps I'm being too much of a purist.

Wow, you actually manage to rip those graphics into SMBX! Niceee! Definetly useful!
Hopefully we'll see more of this in the future if there are any more rips.

Wow, good job ripping them from SMM. The thwomp seems to not be NES styled, but maybe that's just me.
