Hello people! Finally i finished the project that was underway. The name of the episode is The New World 2 - Travel to Twinsanity. This was an ambitious project, with over 3 years of production. I dedicated myself completely!

What sets this episode the others is the freedom granted to you! From the first world, you can choose "enter" on any world, the way you want!


I chose share into two parts, for two reasons:

-history
-Which in total have more than 100 levels and 9 worlds

Finally, more information, just read below!

Story:

After the events of The New World 1, Mario and his friends were having his deserved vacation. But as always, Bowser was always willing to disrupt everything. After a confrontation, a dark force comes out of nowhere. Both realize that this force is much greater than they could imagine!

This dark force was Caused by the pact between Wario and Waluigi. Both dominated the tenth dimension (Twinsanity island)

So Mario and Bowser join forces to defeat this new threat. Your goal is to venture the Country Island, and go to the Iceberg Lab of Bowser ..

The Pisychtron is one machine able to teleport for different dimensions, but for this it is necessary to collect all 26 stars around the Contry Island.

Screens/Level Design:

The level design of this episode is based on "linear" phases, but with a creative and varied level design.

But also have phases "expansive / large".

I will show the lowest possible number of details, not to spoil the surprise! These images show neither 10% of how amazing is this episode.

This looks pretty good!You've picked the best graphics,the screens look fun and lively,and I especially like the look of the cave levels!

I remember this project from the old forums, and I'll say that it looks just as amazing now as it did back then. Great job completing it! I can honestly say that I've been looking forward to this for a really long time, and I thought it was dead for a while. But looks like it wasn't. :) Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to playing this when I get home from school today.

I played through most of world 1 by now.
The level design is really interesting and isn't ever boring.
Though the episode doesn't have a good polished feel. Getting a few beta-testers would have honestly helped it a lot. (1-4 had a wrongly placed warp) and the English in this episode is... yeah, you know.
I also died because of an invisible block messing up my jump (careful with those).
But with all that aside, this is a great episode so far.

Thank you for feedback. :) Hahaha, really, this english is very, very bad.... I felt a great lack of beta testers, most were not competent in testing. Anyway, I'm glad you like it!

I enjoyed the game so far.

A few nageative things first:

-The language. It already has been mentioned.
-Sometimes it is not clear whether a block is background or foreground. There was a level that had wooden pillars that most of the time are passable, but later in the level they suddenly are a wall.
-Some of the challenges are not really harder than the original version

Things I personally don't like but are not really wrong

-Sometimes the signs are a little unneccessary, there are many signs telling me to spin jump.
-I would have liked more different powerups or characters
-The use of switch blocks gets a little redundant over time, those levels often feel like the same.

But overall it still is a very good game.

-The graphics used are nice
-the design itself also looks nice
-The gameplay is tight, can't just run through everything
-some levels have new ideas
-The Bosses are innovative
-it is cool to have challenge rooms

One thing I don't understand: One toad says that there are 25 stars in the game, and so far I found 25 stars. The pipe in the iceberg requires 26 stars, though. So how am I supposed to get in there if there are only 25 stars? I found the star in 4-4, I think I made all the challenges and secret levels.

And thank you for telling that plaque indicates that there are only 25 stars.

Anyway, there are 26 stars:

1 Star: Stage 4-4

1 Star: Secret Stage: 2-S Dormant Forest

16 Stars: Challengers

4 Stars: Toad's Houses - Localization:

-One In Forest
-Two In Cave
-One In Grassland

4 Stars: Bosses Battle.

I can only reach 1 toad house in the cave. There is one at the bottom which I can reach through a pipe.

But there is also a blue toad house directly above the Morton Boss Level (btw there is a spelling error. Motron instead of Morton) I defeated the Boss, but no path leads to the toad house. Or do I reach that toad house from somewhere else?

Ah yes, that's an error that was corrected in Patch 1.0.5! Excuse me for the inconvenience! = (

I'm enjoying this so far. I'll go on and do a full review of it when I'm finished, but the only 2 complaints right now I have are the language (obviously) and the level names are really unoriginal. I think the levels themselves are great but surely you can think of better than "dark cave" or "walking through wood.

Other than that, I'm not seeing too many problems with the game. Enjoying it so far.
