Hello everyone! Today im trying to play SMBX with my cousin, but I cant find any multiplayer controls. Can anyone know any good controls?

I assume the controls aren't different, you just have to connect online.

It's going to be a nightmare if you're both playing on the same keyboard. I typically let other people use a USB game controller when they want to play.

Yeah, you're definitely going to want to use an external gamepad for one of the players. Same keyboard is not going to work well like HenryRichard said, there are too many controls for each player. I would suggest an Xbox 360 controller, since those are very easy to connect (Redigit, the creator of this game, used one himself), but any controller you can get connected should work fine.

The problem is the ''ghost'' effect(when you press more than a certain number of keys,the keyboard won't process some keys)
After playing a lot battle game with my friends in school,I got the best configuration to avoid ghost:

Player 1:

UP............UP ARROW
DOWN...........DOWN ARROW
LEFT.............LEFT ARROW
RIGHT............RIGHT ARROW
JUMP...............Z OR X
RUN...................Z OR X
ALT RUN................A OR S
ALT JUMP.............A OR S
DROP ITEM.............SPACE BAR

PLAYER 2:

UP............8
DOWN..........5 up down left and right must be in the numerical keyboard at the right of your keyboard
LEFT..........4
RIGHT..........6
JUMP..........I OR O
RUN............I OR O
ALT RUN...........8 OR 9 alt run and alt jump must be in the numbers that are on top of the letters
ALT JUMP..........8 OR 9
DROP ITEM........./ (does not make difference)


Getting a gamepad or an anti-ghost keyboard would be the ideal.

Also,there's a way to reduce ghost,but I just know a video tutorial from Brazil,sorry.Try to search on google/youtube.

Regarding ghosting, if you have a PS/2 keyboard (old style round port as opposed to USB) ghosting is not an issue. Or you can get a cheap USB to PS/2 adapter as this will work too.

I will verify what keyboard type my school have,because me and my friends have ghosting sometimes in other games

There is a problem: If you use the same keyboard, sometime someone can not do anything.

Play wihe two controlers (for example PS3-controler) or use one controler and one keyboard!
